Burn Race
Every crate bought fills a bar with its SOL fee. When the bar is full, a Burn Race starts: for a few hours, every crate you buy comes with a free twin. Buy 1, get 2.
All numbers on this page come straight from the game server's settings, so they are always the ones in use.
1. The bar
- Every crate you buy pays a fee of US$ … in SOL. That SOL is what buys back and burns $LURE.
- The bar adds up those fees once the blockchain has confirmed the payment. It counts the fees themselves, not a wallet balance.
- It fills up to … SOL: "X / … SOL until the next Burn Race".
2. The race
- The moment confirmed fees reach the target, a race starts on its own and lasts … hours.
- Only one race can run at a time, even if two purchases fill the bar at the same moment.
- During the race, every crate bought is doubled, whatever the pack: ×1 gives 2, ×5 gives 10, ×10 gives 20. The confirmation says "+N bonus crates (Burn Race)".
- What counts is when the blockchain confirmed your payment, not when you pressed the button. A payment confirmed before the race or after it ends is not doubled.
- Bonus crates are opened like any other. The Lucky Current (a guaranteed Rare or better after a long run without one) counts them too.
- Not doubled: crates from Anchor Keys, codes, prizes, the Tide Pass, the whale airdrop and the welcome crate. Only crates you buy.
3. After the race
- The race ends at its time by itself, even if nobody is buying.
- The bar goes back to 0 / … SOL. Only fees confirmed after the race ended count toward the next one; fees paid during a race never do.
- Every race is listed on the Transparency page, with the crates bought and the bonus crates given.
Nothing is promised
A race starts only when enough crates are bought, so nobody knows in advance when the next one comes. The game may switch the Burn Race off; a race already running always finishes.
